Briefest of introductions:
I’m a single-handed
artist-craftsman working exclusively to commission, so
this site indicates both an approach to the commissioning
process and a range of stylistic explorations and applications.
Almost all of the work is in stone: either lettering alone,
or carved bas-relief or a combination of both. Each commission
is the result of dialogue, research, experiment, discussion
and final agreement. There are no templates. |

My workshop is on the borders of
Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire, so I'm centrally placed for
most northern locations; although Scotland and the south are
within easy reach via the local motorway and rail networks.
